A process that involved collecting and photographing adults’ childhood, transitional objects (a physical object that represents the mother-child bond), not-me, examines object relations theory and the life work of Melanie Klein. Participants were asked to recall a memory of the object, writing it out on a single cue card, beginning with “I remember…”
